Zangula Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Zangula ("Developer," "We," "Us," or "Our") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the Zangula mobile application (the "App").

1. Important Note on Children's Privacy

The Zangula App is designed for children to learn the Kurdish alphabet and numbers through tracing and quizzing activities. We comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements.

For Children Under 13: The App is designed to operate without the need for a user account, login credentials, or the input of any personal details. Children can use the App fully offline, and all progress will be stored locally on the device. We do not knowingly collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from children under the age of 13.

For Users 13 and Older: Users may optionally create an account to sync their progress across devices. Account creation requires parental consent for users under 18. When an account is created, we collect only the minimum information necessary (email address and name) for account functionality.

We collect data necessary to ensure the App functions properly and provides accurate educational feedback. All data collection is optional - users can use the App fully offline without creating an account.

Local Storage

Most performance and progress data (tracing scores, points) is stored locally on the device using secure local storage. This data is deleted if the App is uninstalled.

Backend Server Storage

If a user chooses to create an account, their learning progress data is synced to our secure backend server located at zangula.innovation-pulsehub.com. This enables users to access their progress from multiple devices. All data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties.

No Third-Party Analytics or Services

We do NOT use any third-party analytics services (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or any other analytics platforms). We do NOT use any third-party services for data collection, storage, or processing. All data is stored exclusively on our own secure backend server.

Security

We are committed to ensuring the security of your data. While no digital service can guarantee 100% security, we implement industry-standard security measures to protect all data we collect from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All passwords are stored using secure hashing algorithms, and all data transmission is encrypted.

We do NOT share, sell, trade, or rent ANY data to third parties.
